What We Do
Through a variety of fun exercises and techniques, the Actors Co-Op works to create a safe and inclusive environment for kids, teens, and adults to encourage creativity, revel in the beauty of storytelling, and to explore the craft of acting, specifically for Film and Television.
KIDS and TEENS Winter 8-WEEK SESSION
ABOUT THIS CLASS:Designed for students ages 8 to 18, this exciting program offers a dynamic and immersive experience that will leave your child inspired and brimming with confidence. Our Kids & Teen Class provides a comprehensive curriculum that covers various acting techniques, improvisation, character development, and more. Led by experienced professionals in the industry, our instructors create a safe and nurturing environment where creativity thrives. With our monthly payment option, investing in your child's artistic development has never been easier. For $260 per month, your young actor can embark on an unforgettable journey filled with laughter, teamwork, and personal growth. Classes are held every Saturday from 12 PM to 2 PM, with an optional 11 AM open hour for extra help with auditioning, line memorization, or anything at all. Thursday Adult ACting Classes
CLASS DETAILS: (prior emailed notice for any class cancellations throughout the year)
ABOUT THIS CLASS:This is an ongoing course for individuals with varying levels of acting experience. This course is treated as a scene study course. Each week in class, the material will be given to you or you will pick your own materials that you want to work on. We will focus on connection to the material. We will also break down material either with a partner or individually. Some of the things we will work on and emphasize:
- Auditioning techniques
- Script Analysis
- Honing existing skills
- A deeper connection to a performance monologue, scene work, etc.
- Gaining confidence
- Building necessary basic acting skills
- We also occasionally focus on improvisational work for character development
